The Niho Taniwha is a well-known design representing the teeth of the Taniwha. Depending on the medium it is used in, it represents strength, resilience, and one's connection to higher beings such as the Taniwha.


Background on the origin of this Jade:

Jade mountain is North of here - North of the Arctic Circle, in the Kobuk Valley. We purchase the raw slabs and have been building up our equipment for cutting. It is a very tough stone that requires diamond blades. Working with this Alaskan Jade for us symbolizes the marriage between our clans, as these items will last for hundreds of years.
