Our practices:
We honor all materials of beings that live, as they all carry Mauri - life essence and become one with the cosmos. Tlingit and Maori cultures believe in prayer, and spiritual intention can affect an object’s essence positively. We ask permission of the spirit of the animal of the bone, jade, and shell and smudge our materials with a x̱ʼagáax’/karakia/prayer rooted in compassion and cultural at sax̱án/aroha/love.
