Kia ora!

Jade Mountain is in North Alaska- North of the Arctic Circle, in the Kobuk Valley. We purchase the raw slabs. It is a very tough stone that requires diamond blades. Working with this Alaskan Jade for us symbolizes the marriage between our clans, as these items will last for hundreds of years.

The Tlingit culture believes that Jade held great power. For the Māori people, the Pounamu (the Maori word for Jade), was a highly prized treasure for its practical use, its intrinsic value, and its high spiritual frequency. It is believed that Pounamu not only holds spiritual energy but is also able to amplify one's own energy or spiritual connection. For the Māori people, it has been and continues to be a stone used for protective amulets and protective weapons.

Kia ora/Gunalchéesh for reading!
